FAQs.

  • Due to the high volume of clientele we offer same day consultations as your initial session which are included in the deposit fee. Any questions or concerns can also be addressed by emailing in a clear photo of your eyebrows to info@cassandrabbeauty.com for a free online consultation.

  • Please refer to my Services drop down menu in the top right corner.

  • I make it a priority to do everything I can to make the process as painless as possible and do so by using two different types of numbing agents; a primary and secondary topical analgesic. Discomfort is minimal and most would compare the degree of discomfort to that of eyebrow threading. Client pain tolerance levels also come into play here but rest assured most people are totally relaxed throughout and many clients have even fallen asleep!

  • Please see my Pre- & Post- Care page for Cosmetic Tattoos.

Lash/Lami aftercare can be found on my Lash Extensions and Lash Lift/Brow Lami pages.

  • Approximately 1-3 years with proper aftercare and follow up appointment(s). Skin type, aftercare, and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo - specific results cannot be guaranteed as each client is unique.

  • In short, yes. However, healed results are unique to each client. In my experience, normal/dry skin types typically result in a finer (crisp) healed hair stroke, while oily skin typically heals to a slightly thicker (soft) healed hair stroke. Results vary and can be attributed to a number of factors including skin type, aftercare, skincare use/treatments, and environmental exposure.

Clients with normal to dry skin are great candidates for Microblading/Combo Brows, not too oily/sensitive. Those with oily/combination skin are generally better suited for Nano/Ombré Brows (although this technique is suitable for everyone!).

    • You must be 18+ to receive a brow service.

    • As a safety precaution, I do not work on individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    • If you have previously received PMU by another artist, I do require a visual consultation via email before you are eligible to book an appointment. This is to ensure expectations and achievable results coincide with one another as not all brow cover ups are possible and your brows may require removal first.

    • If you are diabetic, it must be well controlled as high blood sugar levels can effect and complicate the healing process.

    • If you are actively receiving chemotherapy you have increased risk for bleeding and infection and thus are not eligible for cosmetic tattooing until 4 weeks post-treatment. You will also require a doctor’s note.

    • If you are prone to keloid scarring unfortunately you are not eligible for cosmetic tattooing.

  • Brows will take about 4-5 weeks to completely heal through and reach their final appearance. It only takes 2 weeks however for the brows to heal externally and the scabbing/flaking process to complete. After 2 weeks you can return to normal routine and activities. Please see Pre- & Post- Care page to see more details on what to expect.

  • Initially, Cosmetic Tattooing is a 2-step process to achieve the most optimal results. Your initial 5-9 week touch up ($50) allows me to analyze how the colour retains within the skin and add more to areas that may have healed lighter while building density. Healed results are unique to each client and I do my best to create a consistent experience. Touch ups are beneficial for colour refresh and restoration, shape correction, and/or any fine tuning the client desires. Most clients generally come in for ongoing subsequent brow touch ups every 1-2 years once the pigment has faded about 50% but if you are unsure you can always contact me to inquire if your brows are ready for a touch up yet.

  • Gratuity is not mandatory but is of course greatly appreciated and fully left to the discretion of the client.

  • Street parking is available on 176A Street in front of the studio, as well as around back of the studio.

  • Of course! You are totally able to bump it up or step it down as you wish, however, keep in mind the fill will still be done with designated amount of single lashes/fans.

Ex. Client would like to step up from Classic to Hybrid at fill appointment:

    • 50% Classic single lashes remaining.

    • Remaining 50% empty lashes will be filled with standard 50/50 Hybrid mix, resulting in approx. 75% Classic single lashes, 25% Volume fans.

    • If you’re wanting to reach full Hybrid in one fill, book for a Volume fill.

  • In short, yes. However I do charge an additional $10 for foreign fills and the extensions must be of good quality and applied correctly without compromise to your natural lash health.
